Rng in golf
Can’t believe you made this decision absolute lunacy. Might aswell just press A for taking shots it doesn’t matter. No point aiming either might aswell just show us the dice and how do you expect new...
@SpurS1964yeah it has happened to me a few times. The worst was 18 holes at TPC Boston where they want 2 eagles. Was doing great, got pretty close at 18th for that 2nd eagle and end up with no grid. Missed the putt and had to do it all over again.
@Katybee_1313yep with only 3 par5's 1 pretty much unreachable that's a tough challenge. if you don't get it on the 2nd or that short par4 it's a might as well start again.
some players it wouldn't matter because they get so many regular hole-in-1's or eagles from the fairways in every Tournament
The game has more problems than RNG, but tonight I've hit quite a few shots in stupid wins 15-20 at Harbour Town, and 18-25 at Wolfs Creek. I don't hit too many perfect shots where the swing starts and finishes at the top of the arc. I'm usually just over or just under with my swing. I'm going to blame not having the greatest touch on my swings and occasionally there will be an arc on the RNG meter.
quite a few shots made with the imperfect lines have landed in the middle of the fairway, and quite a few have also landed within 2ft of the pin, and a few have bounced off on the fringe, but I finished both rounds 33 under par over 4 rounds on career mode.
what I do find is the main issues with the game is the putting either rolling over a hole, or taking silly diversions, which makes playing a few courses an even harder challenge than what they should do. Chambers Bay, Evrion, Wolfs creek, and the greens at Tara Iti makes playing this gane so frustrating. Chambers Bay hole 8 being the most stupid of them all.
if there is a low wind 1-2mph the game on all other courses the game is so easy to play apart from the 3 mentioned, once the wind picks up then everything gets harder. which makes RNG more frustrating.
when it comes to the courses EA do need needs to sort out putting
