Should be able to save a game in progress...

Question

I'm in the middle of playing the Masters first round in career mode then something came up and I wanted to save the game and continue it later I noticed there's no setting for this so I literally had to leave the console on for 2 hours why it tended to the issue that came up. That's crazy there should be a way to save your round when life gets in the way.....

I save rounds on career mode quite often. Once you chose quit, the game is giving you an option of either saving the round or withdraw.

I know for a fact that you can save career mode tournaments Midway through a round and come back to them. As someone else said when you hit quit it will give you the option for save round or withdraw
