Stars not registering after July update

Requesting Information

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for letting us know what you are experiencing with PGA Tour. 

If you are still seeing challenge star not track correctly please let us know the following 

- Which challenge(s) are you trying to play?

- Are you getting an error message?

- Do other challenges work normally?

- Have you tried restarting the game or playing a different challenge?

Also, if you have not please also let us know the following...

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure what you're asking here, but when I meet star criteria in a challenge, it doesn't reward me the stars I should have earned.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I meet star criteria in a challenge, it doesn't reward me the stars I should have earned.
What do you expect to see? I would love to get the stars I've earned so I don't have to keep playing these challenges and I can talk my player up. I just bought this game so it's a little disheartening.

Which challenge is not registering? Several, but the one that triggered this report was 2023 U.S. Open > Round 2 Moments > DeChambeau - Holes #1 - 3

How many stars is the challenge missing? Several, but 1 for this specific challenge

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? 7/22/23 (Yes)

Is anything else happening? There are other challenges that I've not received stars on as well, but I did not write them down. This happens on almost every challenge I play at least once.

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Played multiple challenges multiple times and still didn't receive my stars

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What happens when the bug occurs? No stars awarded for completing said challenges
What do you expect to see? Nothing now, I resolved this issue by simply restarting the game 🤔

Not sure if this will work for everyone but I ran into a problem with one of the Cobra challenges not giving stars while playing pga tour on my PS5 so I exited the game and then went back in, returned to the challenge “Diet Cobra?” And it worked 😁 all stars acquired 👍

I'm playing on Xbox series X and none of the challenges from any category are registering.

It's done it once or twice before and I usually replay again and it works.

But today I've tried the coaching challenges, sponsor challenge and The Open challenges and none are working.

Why on earth does a golf game need to be online 100% of the time to work!?!? Give us the career and challenges offline please EA and leave the online stuff as that.

If I could get a refund I would.

Hit 1 Green Under Regulation and no star awarded

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? PLAY THE EVIAN CHALLENGES, AND ALL THE OTHER CHALLENGES
What happens when the bug occurs? STARS NOT AWARDED SO THERE IS A RELUCTANCE TO PLAY ANY OF THE CHALLENGES
What do you expect to see? ALL THE CHALLENGES WORKING AS THEY SHOULD

If challenges are sporadic, players will not play them and an integral part of the game will be missing thus diminishing the enthusiasm for playing EA sports PGA

Why don’t they WORK CONSISTENTLY?? Fed up with investing time into completing them and not getting stars. For example, hitting all GIR’s. Or, going bogie free, and not earning stars. SO FRUSTRATING!  Fix them ALL. PLEASE!!!

Not all challenges are working correctly, stars are not being allocated, when earned, and the counter for GIR/FIR/Birdies etc does not register or work on some of the challenges, anyone else (hahaha) have this problem?

Same thing happens for me. Will they ever fix it 😔
