Store stuck on screen/Freezes game

Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug When scrolling through the top menus, occasionally if I linger too long (more than a second) on the Store menu before moving on, the game will either get stuck as if trying to load the store even though I'm on a different menu item, or will have the first page of the store loaded on the screen no matter what else I do (including playing a round) until I restart the game.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cycle through the top menus, but linger long enough on the Store item so that the game thinks you're wanting to view the store, then move on to the next item.
What happens when the bug occurs? Either: 1) The game navigates to the next menu item but won't allow any further input from either mouse/keyboard or connected controller 2) The first page of the Store (bags) is super imposed on the screen. I'm able to navigate through every screen and even enter a Daily Tournament, but the Store screen doesn't go away
What do you expect to see? To be able to navigate away from the Store screen and use the next screen as designed.

This issue has been occurring almost since purchase a couple months ago. It's not game-breaking, as I can just make sure to quickly move past Store menu or let it fully open before moving on to prevent the issue, but I've had to close out and restart the game numerous times because of it.

  • HI @bdvdude Can we try the following and check if there is any changes?

    • Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
    • Verify you signed into your PSN account
    • Check for updates
    • Restore Licence
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
    • Open your PS5 NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
    • Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

  • I had a similar problem of the PS5 where I finished a round and was claiming rewards and pro pass and entered the store then moved on and the initial screen for the store had overlaid the main screen and would not go away no matter what I clicked on.  I did not try and restart the game as I was done for the day, hopefully it was a one time occurance.

As the initial report states, I'm playing on PC, so I'm not sure how most of these steps would be helpful. I did however just play the game again after a couple days and I'm not able to reproduce the issue anymore, so it seems as though it's been fixed or was just a strange one off.
