I haven't started career mode yet until they bring in the option to choose 2 rounds. However what you describe RagingSaint happens to me in the challenges but mainly with approaches to the greens.
I could hit a shot with a 4 mph wind, direction right to left for example. Aim the ball slightly right of the hole, hit a straight shot, and the ball does what I expect. Then when replaying the same challenge it can stay right or over compensate with the wind and go miles left having played a straight shot with the same 4 mph wind. The game disc has gone back in its box, I await the next update.
