@ELF014Hope you realize I was just joking. I also like the the way you have to be selective in your skills. Its nice they allow you to move some skill points around if you want to try different combos, but not being able to max out is fine with me. I still wish they would make the rough and traps less forgiving. No fear of going into them unlike 2K.
I fully agree with you... the only fear I have in this game is the RNG, which really does not come into play with a fully powered up character.
I have mentioned this before... in 2K23 if there is a hazard such as a lake in play I might get a little nervous knowing I could execute a shot that is slightly mistimed and put it in the lake. I will hit to the big part of the green to protect against this, 2 putt and move to the next hole.
I have zero fear with EA PGA Golf... with a fully configured golfer I know I need to hit a really poor shot to end up in the water.
As for moving skill points around... I understand wanting to be able to test different combinations. I just don't like the idea of being able to change things up in a competitive environment on the fly to serve your purposes.
If you have committed to a certain play style deal with it... allow others to have a competitive advantage in these tournaments. It doesn't mean you can't win... it just means others will have a better opportunity to win.
And if you want to change your skills you will need to spend some time rebuilding XP. Which means your XP stops when you hit 50 skill points. And starts again if you remove any skill points from your tree, with the counter reverting back depending on how many skill points have been removed, so you can earn them again.
This would be the cost of changing your setup.
