I would rather take a lesser swing on a higher club than a full swing on a shot I don't want to take, i.e. say 157 yards to pins, default 9I wind the face, I would rather club up to an 8I and take less power, the last tiger game I played, it was like that... this under-swing/over-swing is stupid, and I've been saying that since the beginning of this game.....

@-Roasted513- No I think you totally misunderstand the way you can play the game.

If I have a 8iron that carry 170 yards at full swing, I can easily do a half swing to get a lower distance.

@Mickstudio1308 He's saying you can't bring the aimpoint in more than 5 yards or so on approach shots. You can't accurately swing the power meter to 75% if you want. The game should let you aim at any distance that you'd like that is less than 100%, but it limits you unless you are on finesse, which lets you bring in your aimpoint significantly.

So you are saying that you want the game to allow you to dial-in the exact distance you want to hit the ball?
If that is the case why not just let us put the reticule right on top of the hole, and expect it to land there?

I don't want lesser distance on the club, I want to club UP and use less power. Say I have a shot into the wind, I would rather a club that has a lower trajectory (7I, 6I and so forth) and use less power

@ELF014That's not what I am saying. I was just explaining to Mick what Roasted was asking for. This isn't my own personal request.
On the other side, I don't think there is anything wrong with being able to aim where you want. Why would that be a problem when you can do that with finesse shots? Also, even if you aimed directly at the hole every shot, your shot results still depend on your power (overswing/underswing) and tempo which make huge differences to dispersion and distance control. You are making it sound like people are requesting the ability to aim in the hole and if they hit it right, the ball will just land in the hole.

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you. I'm just not sure what people want... this game is already way to easy as it is. Which I wouldn't have an issue with if EA had given a thought to the other group of people that would have liked to have has a chance to enjoy the game.
