Technical Issue

Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
Platform:Xbox Series S
Summarize your bug The game freezes/stutters/skips.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The problem occurs every time I make a major change, i.e. Create a new player, change club manufacturers, etc.
What happens when the bug occurs? Motion freezes sporadically or stutters.
What do you expect to see? I expect no stuttering

If I want to start a new season in career mode, I can't reset the existing player, I have to create a new player and then the stuttering starts. I can fix the problem by unplugging and reinserting the power cord.

Hey @kdwstwrok To check have we tried the following as well, to see if this keeps up?

    • Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
    • Check for updates
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
    • Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
    • Persistent Storage
      • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
      • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage
    • Alternate Mac:
      • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings
      • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
      • Select restart
  • @kdwstwrok I am also getting stuttering with the ball in flight and also on land in the fairway. This is in Career mode. It also has changed the swing speed to a very low speed and has affected the completion of chipping shots around the greens. I have not tried any other at this time. This has begun after the last update with the Tour. I have not as yet tried my tried and true unplugging and restart. This I will do now after reporting this. Nice to know that I am not the only one experiencing this.

@LemonDropKid As usual, the complete shut down followed by unplugging the XBX for about 2 or 3 minutes and then plugging in again for a new start is the magic answer for just about everything. All working properly once again.
