I prefer a setting that incorporates aspects of sim/tour/pro. No zoom from sim. Rest of tour settings. Then no shot shaping.
That said for canned multiplayer I like Tour a little better but will pick from game mode/courses more so than pro/tour.
I do agree with your reasons 1/3. I don’t use the spin you mention in 5 anyway. I also don’t like the mechanism you mention for 2. In real life I don’t change my swing to draw/fade. I change my setup. This game does not accurately reflect that and the shot shaping in game is silly. I turn that off when I play career. Finally, I don’t really see any significant difference between pro/tour when it comes to impact from lies/rough. I don’t really think ANY game mode really provides any challenge in this aspect.
I’ve got 450 or so hours in since release.
