- -Roasted513-12 months agoSeasoned Ace@Mark_Miwurdz does it really matter......?
- Mark_Miwurdz12 months agoSeasoned Ace@-Roasted513- Well, yes. I do ok and have over a 1000 tickets.
- -Roasted513-12 months agoSeasoned Ace@Mark_Miwurdz so I should be "rich" in game just because I'm capable of blowing up leaderboards....?

Well, yes. Isn't the idea to have healthy tickets and coins so the process of earning both is self sufficient?
- 12 months ago@Mark_Miwurdz I'm at 5,700+ tickets so I'm surprised that Roasted could have been too low, but anything is possible I guess.
- -Roasted513-12 months agoSeasoned Ace@Mark_Miwurdz to me, it's more of a challenge to have less, because there's less chance of mistakes, because a mistake can cost 100's of tickets or 1000's of coins, so when I have ONE chance to hit a number, I have a greater chance of achieving that (and this is why I think the "unlimited attempts" needs to go bye bye) you get one shot IRL....

Unless one, not necessarily Roasted, plays the weeklies and seasonal many time over...tickets can exhaust pretty quickly.
- 12 months ago@jack2k65 I typically only play each weekly/daily 1 time unless something stupid happens like a pin shot that I have no control over.
- -Roasted513-12 months agoSeasoned Ace@jack2k65 its not just that either, -EA- has this NASTY habit of "RNG" literally EVERY shot I take, so sometimes when I aim straight, -EA- will pull or push a tee shot into the rough (either side of the fairway) into water (if any) and on approach shots (approach/finesse) I can aim short and the ball will hit the green 10's of feet from where I aimed, and long and its the complete opposite sometimes, then WE, the players, have to adjust to
-EA's- nonsense - 12 months ago
@packattack04082 Smaller tournament fields on PC make it incredibly difficult to maintain a large stockpile of tickets. Basically if you don't shoot the winning score or within one of that score your not getting the winner payout. Combine the difficulty in shooting those scores day in and day out with the fact that on PC we really don't have anything better to do than play tournaments due to the fact that getting an online ranked game may take an hour or more. @Mark_Miwurdz The goal is and always will be too shoot low scores not to have a stockpile of tickets and coins.

I do have a few hundred tickets but genuinely will finish top 3 in some daily tournaments and only get elite ranked. In this thread we have seven of the best players on pc - basically the whole playerbase.
- 12 months ago@-Roasted513- What does the RNG issue have to do with this issue though? Are you saying the RNG makes shotmaking so unreliable that it prompts you to replay tournaments alot? BTW, I am not saying it is wrong to replay them, as it is allowed. On RNG, I look at it this way...we are all in the same boat.

This is kind of weird, the last time I checked stat on Steam, there was a peak of almost 300 players at the same time. I was curious of the player base on PC with the game on sale for $20 like somebody else mentioned.

To be fair, there are a reasonable number of players - they just don't enter the tour and sim tournaments.
- -Roasted513-12 months agoSeasoned Ace@jack2k65 when i play ANY shot, i expect my ball to behave in a certain way, and most of the time it does not, especially on the second (2nd) shot (par 4s and par 5s) which in turn causes my play to alter drastically, so yes "RNG makes shotmaking so unreliable that it prompts you to replay" but not all the time
- 12 months ago@Midnght_Mrauder1 I'm glad that PS5 isn't that dead. I can usually finish top 3 in daily 18 hole sims and still get a win. Recently weekly sim tournaments have been actually reaching over 100 entries, which is a lot more than they used to get.

I got the 'win' reward on the Weekly pro... not complaining because I should have been somewhere in the region of 'ranked'. Lolwhat1234... you sir are a freak of nature with the scores that you post (and I mean that in the nicest way possible)
