Unable to select resolution 5120x1440. No Ultrawide support at all!

Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug No Ultrawide support. Unable to select resolution 5120x1440. Max resolution the game will allow is 2560x1440.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Plug to superultrawide monitor or have windows set to 5120x1440 and attempt to launch game. It stretches to full screen but it will not allow resolution 5120x1440 as an option. All other EA games work fine, but this does not, must be a bug.
What happens when the bug occurs? It stretches to full screen but it will not allow resolution 5120x1440 as an option.
What do you expect to see? It's 2023, I expect a AAA title to support Super Ultra Wide 5120x1440 resolution and enjoy all the glory of golf with the extra wide field of view.

The limitation seems to be based on the vertical resolution and there doesn't even seem to be ultrawide 3440x1440 as an option. The game is currently unplayable on an ultrawide monitor.

It works fine on my 4K 65' TV at 5120x2160 but not super ultrawide sadly.

Please fix this ASAP!

  • Bought the game last night on a Steam sale and returned it within 20 minutes of purchase as this is a deal breaker for me as well. Unfortunate. FIFA 23 has it though, so....

  • I can only see 1080p resolution in the options in full screen, I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 49", RTX 2080 Super, I think the game is checking your video card and not showing resolutions it thinks your card can't handle (lots of different people see differing resolutions offered to them even though they're using the same monitor. EA, if this is the case, please remove the check and allow us to manage our own systems. I can play the game in 5120 x 1440 using Borderless Gaming, BUT I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT. I want the game I paid $160 CDN for to support 5120 x 1440 natively, without the need for a third party TSR program that takes system resources away from my game. Pretty please, with a cherry on the top.
