I just got the game and I was worried about this. I'm just going through Korn Ferry and already reached level 15. At this rate I'll be max level in just a couple of weeks...:/
The lvl cap should be 99 - and then after lvl 99 a small reward (coins?) should still be given out.- @triplethreat-802 Level 50 does take a while still. The levels require more XP as you go so it's not a linear progression. I agree though that it would be nice to have the option to go further, but 50 might take longer than you are expecting.
But a final level only makes sense!?
Every golfer, even the pros, have their strengths and weaknesses and that's what the XP's are all about. To decide where do I see my strengths and where my weaknesses.
Or what kind of golfer do I want to be in the game.
A superhero golfer with full XP's? Really?
- @225a4b15247171e3 Exactly evrey playe rin any sport reaches a point where they hit their limit you have to jus tdiscover what is yours as you play. Even in RPG games you're neve rg oing t omaxout a l you rpowers necessarily in one playthrough unless you play New Game Plus and even that's breaking coventional rules really. You have to pick what powers you wantt ouse as your main ones and whic ht ouse as backup. It's jus tthe way life is you can't b egood a teverything in the game. For example in Snooker take Ronnie O sulivan excellen tpotter and deserving of all the trophies he' s won but even he has weaknesses for example whilst he can pretty much pot any ball on he can be a litle weak at times when it comes to safety exchanges . Becaus eI remember I was drawn to play him in a World Champoinship final once on a career mode in a snooker game and I used that agains thim and managed t oobeat him doing so. I tdid requier a lot of patient pla yon m ypart but I pulled it off and won the tournament. in that career mode. I don't kno wwha tkind o fgolfer I'm going t obe yet in this game but I plan t ofigue rit out once I get started on m ycareer. But I d oplan on trying t owin at least a fwe tournaments alon gthe way if I can and generally have fun.
It would be nice for uncapped levels for it to go to 9999. I am fine with skill points getting capped at 50 but.... if we could go to 9999 and get some kind of reward like some coins for each level. And have it show on our player what level we are so you can get a idea of how long a player has been playing the game. would be great.
It took me 156 hours to reach the maximum level 50. With no user created courses, better turn based online modes of play and user tournaments that can be played with your friends, this game is getting boring very quickly. I have had thousands of hours playing other golf games before they started to get boring. We had weekly tournaments with scratch and handicap standing for each tournament back in TW2008 an TW2009. I was hoping that EA Sports new game would at least have at least the same options that were available back then and some better graphics and ball physics. I actually think that the ball physics were much better in the old TW games than this one.
I am dissapointed that I can't earn any more SP's. I am not near being able to get enough skill points to have all the the types of swings. I now have to buy back some SP's to get some of the swing types that I would like to have and lose some that I don't use very much. I thought that it was going to be possible to level up enough to get all the skills that are available in the game..
- @EA_Illium To be honest, the leveling system seems a little short sighted. I have had the game a little over 2 weeks and have also maxed out my character at level 50.
I am working through the challenges but have stopped because the main reason for it was for the payouts.
The career mode could be fun as was rather well thought out overall. However because the game is so easy to play even at the hardest swing levels, career mode becomes a birdiefest to make it competitive and there is no fun in that.
I mainly enjoy playing multiplayer with friends on a nightly basis and EA does not provide a very good forum for that. We are doing it put everyone is complaining how easy the game is. We pretty much hit every fairway and green and have a birdie putt on every hole.
Getting up and down is a given with the flop and pick shots and 3 putting is almost nonexistent.
Plus everyone complains about the lack of turnorder, and the ability to watch each other hit the ball.
The game was fun when getting to know it but it lacked substance in the gameplay mechanics to make it challenging in the long run.
Even going back to a new player with no skill points the game is no longer difficult. Once you understand the gameplay the mechanics are not difficult enough to make for challenging golf. @Ultrasonic_77Yeah indeed you have to be clever as to where you put your pouints I've put the majorit yof mineso fa rint oAccuracy after starting my career last night as I'v ebeen strugglin gt oge tthe bal to get where I want it accurately enough so been cranking that up to help. I'm finding the game quite challenging at the moment but challenging in a good way as right now whilst I'm no tdoin great I'm no tsure if it's becaus ethe games hard o rwhether I'm jus tout of practic eas I haven't reall yplayed any golf games fo ra while. I know how t opla ygolf it's jus tI think I may have lost my touch a little is all.and need to just practice until I find it again. But I think wit henough time I wil l get t ogrips wit hi tas I have nailed a fwe birdies and a coupl eof eagles. Onl yproblem is I've landed quite a fwe bogeys as well.
Play on sim with shot and putting meters off. I'm playing game this way from the start. All challenges, career, etc.

@Ultrasonic_77Yeah for me th e fun isn' ts omuch about levelling up to max level because for m that's just a measuring stick as t owhen to unloc nwe abilties like in a RPG game. For me the real fun is how many trophies can I win ove rthe course of my career can I make i tto being World Numbe r1 and win a World champoinship or whatever. Not so much about. I've played around a bit wit hthe game but haven't started a career ye tas I was mostl ywaiting fo the 3 click befoer starting. But I d oplan on starting dsoon now that it has been added. Kinda looking forward to it tbh.I agree, doing everything in sim with meters, using swing stick
