Still no Other modes to play with friends, just same Divot derby style stroke with friends. No reward system after lvl 50 (Give some coin reward for hitting another lvl or something). i see after a round i have well over 1,000,000 points that do nothing. They have the game modes we want for local. How hard is it to transfer those modes to online? The 20th of April was our last patch. EA went dark after that. What is going on?

@CkYMaximusThis has been making the rounds on facebook. I saw it in a thread for F1 23. The original is an image file, but these are the contents, supposedly by an ex-EA employee..."Funny story. When I worked at EA, bugs got categorized by severity: A was gamebreaking, B was a major annoyance to the user, C was noticeable but you could get passed it, and D was minor, not likely to be seen or cared about. Nearly all D bugs are ignored, unless something else happens to fix them. As a project gets closer and closer to completion, more severe bugs are ignored. By the last two weeks only A bugs get fixed. Even B bugs are shipped. The fun part is that when they start the next year's game (fifa 2023, need for speed whatever), they port all the old code and just update the graphics. Meaning they bring in ALL the old bugs. One of the first things they do before beginning work is fix any lingering A and B bugs, but NOT C or D bugs. During development of the NEW version of the game, whenever you find a bug, you have to first check if it was in old versions. If it was, and it's set to known shippable, you have to ignore it. The logic is this: "It wasn't a priority to fix it last year, so it's obviously not that big a problem, so we Can ignore it this year." Repeat that for 4 or 5 years, and you end up with a game that's 90% bugs that are known to the developers but also shipped on purpose."Just something to keep in mind. It's probably wise to keep those expectations in check. It certainly rings true, based on my years of experience as a sucker --I mean-- EA Customer.

It is one thing to call for patience...and stop there.But he literally said April 20th was the patch. Making your "it doesn't take 2 days to add a new feature" comment ridiculous.The stuff in the previous patch such as 3 click swing for example...90% of the community doesn't care about this and can make the argument that there have been zero updates.People want turn-based play, more competitive modes, and a more expansive store that seems to be on a repeating loop of the same 50 items with no ability to browse. Announcing that you may or may not address these things vaguely while also not giving anything even close to a timeline is just sloppy. People expect more then vague commitments about adding features to a game that is from a major company and not some fringe developer.It's simple, a general estimate of what's coming and approximately when even if they just said Summer it would be a soft deadline and some expectations.______________________To give an example - This is what they wrote -Online Game FormatsWe will be providing updates to online game formats in the live service window. We’ll share more details about these game formats in the future, but we want to assure you that the team has heard the feedback and is working hard to bring you more online choices.______________________What in the world does "in the live service window" mean and they make no mention of the most talked about feature of not having the option to watch your opponent shoot in a turn-based format. The amount of people on reddit who are stunned at this not being an option are off the charts. Been in every game since the year 2000.

@Ultrasonic_77 I hear what you're saying, but the difference here is, these EA games are iterative. There's no excuse for a 30 year old franchise like Madden or NHL to continue to have the issues it has, when there's been so much time to work out those problems, and soooo much money made. But we all know where both of those franchises stand right now.Even PGA. The original PGA for Sega Genesis --over 30 years ago-- had features this game doesn't; namely instant replay. And as I've said before, EA had golf perfection with TW 12-14. Perfection. There's absolutely no (valid) reason why a game released now is missing 75% of the features from a game made just a decade ago, *by the same company!*I mean, for me, it would be a matter of pride. If I was lead dev for PGA, I'd be disgusted with how this game shipped. If I was an EA exec, I'd be disgusted with how this game shipped. There's no reason for it. To coincide with the Masters? Why? It's completely arbitrary. Do they think if they delayed it 6 months and released a proper title, that no one would buy it because the Masters is long over? Nonsense.Ultimately, EA charged $70 for a half-baked product that's put to shame by a 10-year-old game, and they *should* be ashamed. Furthermore, every angry customer is absolutely entitled to that anger. This nonsense has been going on for far too long.

@Sneakler Well said. Imagine the game was supposed to release last year! It got delayed for a whole year. How stripped down would that have been? probably like 3 courses and 2 faces to pick lol

private? I want more public modes. I don't have any friends or family that play the game anymore. I meet people in the game. I sometimes see them standing on the green lmao. Back in the days whole communities were built around the game and life long friendships were made in real life through it on the PC.

We are though less than one month from PGA Tour being released so for now I'm going to remain more positive, as I do think the game devs have been pleasingly responsive to player feedback so far, and I'm sure are working on the issues of biggest concern in the game. I know my status here makes me seem partisan but I'm a player just like you and I only post about games I'm playing and so want to work too! If we don't give at least some credit when positive things happen then there's going to be less incentive for the team to do all they can to improve the game. Also, no game dev ever will want to put out a game full of bugs or with popular features missing, this happens as a result of limited staff resources and time.

@benjimufc1i have like 20 people i play with. We set up out own private matches. But the only option is Stroke play. On 2k we set up tourneys where we would Play ALT shot. We would create team brackets and play. image below.

I don't have anyone to play with. I'd rather they focus on online multiplay game modes and social aspect of the game so more of a community can build around it..

If I worked for EA they would have a chat, voip, and turn based online game modes.

April 20th was our last patch. Did they give up on the game already? it would be nice if the developers would give us a heads up on what they are working on. Like a ROADMAP.

@CkYMaximus I think you have to be a little more patient for update. The last update was very recently, it don't take 2 days to add new feature. They already give a heads up on the next thing they will add.
