During the last update and the patch 7.0 where has all the experience points gone we earned while at max level of 50 ?
the points were racking up ready for more player levels now seems we have lost them all.
any ideas why ?
@Taz9BallOnce you hit Level 50, you no longer earn XP because your golfer has maxed out. After Level 50, the XP goes nowhere since you can no longer accumulate once you max out.
To get an OVR of 99, you will need to grind for coins to obtain specs in the store. There are specs for Driver, Wood, Hybrid, Iron, Wedge and Ball. The speadsheet below lists all the specs and their associated stats.

Max level has increased now. I think to 60? Not sure on the final, but we are earning XP again as of this patch.
I hear what you are saying... thatcit seemed like it was still tracking XP even after we had reached level 50 months ago. I noticed that as well.
It seems in EA's wisdom, they reset anything XP above what it took to reach level 50. So the counter has been reset that max amount for most of us.

This is pretty standard for all games that do level increases though. Still don’t get why a sports game needs levels, but for MMO and similar games that have levels, you sadly don’t continue to earn or bank xp while at max level. They want those new maxes to have that grind attached!

No idea… I liked the current amount. Made people choose to specialize or be average at everything.

Thanks for the catch. I have not played since the release of Madden. The 60 level must be something introduced in latest patch. I am currently playing PGA Tour 2K23 and NBA 2K24 and will be playing EA FC 24 once released.
@7AnimalMother I totally agree with you. I don't know why they wanted to increase it by 10 points. It's not like it is really going to be that significant, and like you said I also personally liked that playing styles could be wildly different.
What they have done is sort of like tearing the bandaid off a wound. I think most people have accepted this concept... now it just reminds those that want to check off all the skill points that they can't do it again.

Wished they had that level increase when it was update 2.0. I don’t remember Tiger Woods series having this issue.
