Just to add another little thought to it, from my point of view, I think one of the major reasons for avoiding some of the courses is simply the way they feel to be challenging enough, but then there's also the need to fight the RNG a lot of the time.
Watching a drive go 20 to 30 yards off to the side when you know the shot was perfectly executed is frustrating, having it happen on a course that should have enough natural challenge is just too much.
It's not always about the win, sometimes it's about just feeling like the game is worth playing... There's plenty that is easier to avoid when it's considered that way.

It’s all about the tradition of golf for me & 4 round tournaments are perfect. I only play one career round a day & usually some online or tournament stuff aswell.
Career hasn’t got stale this way but I definitely think it would just rattling through 1 rounders.
