- Swing mecanic is better
- Course graphic are 10000x better
- Career mode is really better
- Character modeling is 1000x better
You have the right to prefer the other game for all the online aspect, but for the golf part of it the EA game explode the others.

@jambomakaveliI don't prefer any company, I just like golf and I like the game that is the more realistic.

I’m not gonna get into a back and forth. I can’t be bothered. For me it was this simple…..
I played ea solidly for a few weeks….
even on the hardest swing difficulty…. You barely miss a fairway or a green. It just comes down to can I make my birdie putt on every single hole.
bunker…. No problem… just use the pick shot and putt it stone dead everytime.
rough? What rough. Doesn’t make a difference.
im fine with people liking what they like, but saying this explodes pga 2k is a bit ridiculous.
In 2k, a bad shot, in the water, in the trees, it’s possible at any moment.
- 3 years ago@jambomakaveli I'm not saying that EA game is perfect. You are right about the fact that the game is a bit too easy. I play my career on the hardest mode possible without any visual helper and I'm able to do great shot the majority of the time. I think the visual aspect and the realism of the EA game versus the 2k keep me there. The graphic and tha quality of the feeling in the swing are just perfect.

the whole presentation is superb.
courses, swing, commentary. It’s all spot on.
unfortunately…. As we both agree, it can get to a point where it’s pretty easy.
and personally I hate the thing of…. It’s too easy…. Turn the green grid off then.
that shouldn’t be the only way of increasing difficulty.
m they need to come up with a higher difficulty where going offline with the stick results in Mishits more.
- 3 years ago@jambomakaveli I agree and the green grid is the only thing I kept. I agree with the fact that the game need improvement but I'm just tired of people complain about the game and people who want a refund because EA abandon them with a lack of update. The people need to be more patient and appreciate what this game have to offer now. After that you write a post with your suggestion of improvement, if you really don't like the game just stop playing it. I really don't talk about you.
Thanks for the conversation. - 3 years ago@jambomakaveli The game is far too easy, and ultimately that negates all the good from everything else, as the long term playability isn't there.
Golf is not an easy sport, even for the Pros
It's a shame EA have made such a nerfed representation of the sport - 3 years ago@Mickstudio1308 You don't need to tell others what to do or what to say.
Just move past posts you don't like and let others have their views shared.
Your views and preferences do not reign supreme - 3 years ago@BuckHasTheBook The negativity doesn't need to reign supreme neither

@BuckHasTheBookThe negativity doesn't need to reign supreme neitherWhat I find from the negativity, and this is me personally as well….
id say a massively high percentage of people who play this game, if not almost everyone, could say that with a little work, and a few tweaks here and there this could be the absolute best golf game ever.
That’s the really depressing thing….
the template is there, the foundation is layed.
m it plays a superb game of golf. Looks amazing, feels amazing.
it really is quite a short list, we’ll in my opinion.
sort out multiplayer(turn order, more modes)
add a higher swing difficulty that punishes offline stick swings60fps
make hazards hazardous
nerf/make harder…. The pick and flop
For the love of god give us more gear!now that’s not the biggest list!
they really have a hell of a shot at getting this to be the best golf game ever in my opinion, but whether they do or not is anyone’s guess.
it’s already massively on sale in the PlayStation store which isn’t a good sign.

I'm unsure if it's down to playing different courses or a change but I have found myself having to lay up a couple of times from the rough or bunkers recently, although the latter was more due to the bunker being too deep than the lie. I have zero skill points in approach recovery should this matter but then so should anyone who thinks the rough is too easy. Not investing in short game recovery would make escaping from bunkers harder too, including by removing the Pick option.
I agree with the general sense of the game being a good start that could be developed into something even better, and for now I remain hopeful that in time we may find this happens. I think many underestimate how much time and effort may be needed for changes to be made, and little more patience may ultimately be rewarded.

How come less and less people accept perfection these days, Everyone seems to be happy with mediocrity. You pay maximum dollars for it. Why?
and why is PS5 discounted and not Steam?

Let me know if you ever find a perfect game... Nobody wants to play games with bugs/major limitations but if we all only played games with no problems we'd be playing nothing.
Re. your second question I wonder if the lack of 60 fps on PS5 has impacted sales more than EA would like.
- 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 or we would just be playing the game 2 years after it should have been released, but shareholders need their returns.
Yes, good point, that could be PS5 reason. - 3 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 No, I think people have caught wind of the fact they released a beta of this game and charged top whack for it.
