Will PGA Tour EVER come correct?

Will EA keep making us play with cartoon-ish characters on beautiful courses?

Will EA put out a new game or keep soaking people with their "PAY FOR PLAY" bull****?!?!

Will EA ever put out a decent sports game again?

How the **** can I find a plain golf ball to play with in this crap game?

Are there really only 2 body types that exist on planet earth?

Wouldn't it be grand if I could play a $70 dollar game with a player that looks like me?

Where could I find such a game?

Could I pay XXXXX$$$$$$$ for a player that looks like me, or my wife, or my daughter, and doesn't look one of Charlie Brown's friends playing golf on a real world looking golf course?

One day a real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets.

You will have to go back to EA TW14 on PS3 or XBox 360...  🤔

That was the last great golf game.If EA made TW15 instead of Rory, we might not seen the Vicious Rory Cycle. One feature I loved about TW14 was photo gameface where the avatars looked like ourselves. The gameplay was great and we did not have to deal with the black socks.

When playing this game, the amount of "work/grind" it takes to get say, a golf ball that doesn't say EA on it, or any other piece of clothing, is overwhelmingly prohibitive, and within my own adult mind, I find it hard not to just plop down another $20 for an unfinished $70 game.  Then when the kids badger with the same thing that they would like to get this or that in your game and it takes WAY too long to earn it naturally.

I know that you know what I mean.  Are you thinking that I cannot articulate corporate greed and EA's long standing reputation of being the worst?

I have been playing video games since pong.  I have been playing video golf games since their invention. I know when a game is a rip off.

Were you going to explain that everything can be earned without paying for it in this game?  Please explain to be that if I save my pennies, I will be a billionaire one day.

I was literally thinking about that when I wrote the post.  About pulling the old PS3 out of the closet and see if it still works.

Those were really good games.  You could tell they were putting everything they had into them.

Now they are just phone-ing it in with this half baked amateur crap.

Exactly right!   Did they forget how important "immersion" is to players?  Photo Game face was great.  I am sure there is a cost to keeping it going, but at the very least, put a little bit of work into the player creation system.

There really wasn't much grinding to get a Titleist golf ball, I got a white Titleist in minutes. After downloading the game, the first thing flashing in the middle of the screen were Coaching Academy and Sponsors challenges. That's where the game wanted us to go to learn the game. Some easy skills training challenges like hitting fairways and balls on greens, and in no time I had enough skill pts to go to the Titleist challenges. It took only 5 stars to get a new ball. It was as easy to get a new Callaway ball, only 5 stars.

Anyway, I agree we're far from TW14 in players customization.  A game I played just about everyday to the very end, until the server shutdown Oct 2023. All women looks the same in this game, all the same shape and there's only like 2 faces not looking like cartoon. EA sure didn't give us women any favors in this game. And yeah I really hate the mandatory black socks too. What were they thinking? So stupid.
