wind
I've said this once, and I'll say it again, and again and again....
the WIND in this game isn't even close to being accurate......

I'm with pack on this one. And if there's one player you don't use the "I'm a top ranked player" argument against it's pack, lol.
High winds have a complex relationship with swing tempo, ball lie, and club loft that makes it more difficult to understand than a simple linear offset, but it's not inconsistent. It's a deterministic physics simulation - whilst it lacks enough feedback for the effects of your inputs to be fully transparent (not a bad thing, it creates a skill gap), I think people are far too quick to just blame the outcome on randomness or malice (the game isn't trying to screw you over).
@packattack04082 wrote:@-Roasted513-I don't think it's the wind that is the problem. It's the dispersion that causes it. If you get a huge pull with a driver into a 15 mph wind blowing right, the ball will barely move right. If you get right dispersion, the ball will play like a 25 mph wind. I don't think that the wind is the problem itself. It's just when you have random dispersion the effects of the wind can be drastically exaggerated or muted depending on the direction of dispersion you get.
This... I couldn't agree more.

I couldn’t agree more on this one. I would get out the popcorn to watch an online match between the two.
ok.... explain this one, aim a shot, (off the tee) whatever it is, hit the same-ish power on EVERY shot with absolutely different results: and I'm talking feet to yards from target/aim point

It’s RNG all the way. It has been an issue since launch. The Tiger Woods series did not have except for TW11. This did not happen in the TW series since RNG was not an issue. It is even possible to replicate shots in TW. It is almost impossible to replicate a shot with same result with current game due to RNG.
"You can aim a 6 iron with 1 mph wind on a 210 yard par 3 and have 1 ball land 20 feet left & 10 feet long of a second shot even if you aimed both in the same spot and got 'perfect' impact results"
Just as it can in real life. Dunno where some people get the idea that perfect shots land in the same place every time, from?

@packattack04082maybe you dont have the issues i have, so that makes you correct on everything, come play MY game and see just how wrong you are.....
Maybe you're right, your game is different. Maybe EA is punishing you for complaining too much. 🤔
