Wolf Creek Par 3???

Okay, anybody whose played Wolf Creek is going to know EXACTLY which hole I’m talking about here…….This friggin par 3 is like 90ft above the tee 🤔😳😲🫣 How in the h*** do you get up there without coming up woefully short or hitting the green with a ball that’s moving so fast that you have NO CHANCE of slowing it down with some backspin? I SERIOUSLY need some help here 🙄😑 I used to have the same problem with this hole in TW2014 too but that was so loooong ago that I can’t even remember if I ever came up with a solution for it 🤔😲🫣😂🤣

  • It's been a long time since I played this game. I'm pretty sure you mean the 3rd hole at Wolf Creek. Not holes are meant to be easily birdied.

This one plays more like 3.5 strokes. But it is possible to birdie it... from what I remember I don't think you can get there with a stock character and a 3 wood.

Things get easier once you max out your character.

The good thing about EA is that it lets you play any group of holes you want. Just set up the hole and test what works.

But I think you are right, without a levelled up character, it would be a tough ask.

@Mark_Miwurdz WOW nice shot 😲🫣😂🤣👍 But if it didn’t hit the pin that ball would have ended up clear on the other side of the green and possibly into the ruff like I end up doing 🙄😑 Really nice shot though 😁

I know. Pretty much need loft a head wind and a lot of luck to hold the green.

  • From the best of my memory, you need to be specced fairly decently into power to hold that green.   I certainly know with my toon I have specced into the bronze power drive struggles with it, but the one I have specced into gold power drive can hit a high enough lofted club to hold.

I agree, and from the best of my memory... and it has been months that I have used my spec'd player. I was able to reach it with a 3-4 iron depending on the wind.

The back of the green is pretty sloped so as long as you don't overhit the ball too far it will stop and feed back down.

  • I wonder how golfers play that hole in real life? 🤔😲🫣😂🤣 Will have to check and see if there are any videos out for it. I actually had the opportunity to play on that course waaaaaay back shortly after they had just built it 🤔 I was living in Vegas at the time and they were having one of those deals where you get to play on their course for like half price cuz they want feedback on it and stuff like that…….Kinda wishing I had gone now 🤔😲🫣😂🤣

I call hole 3 of Wolf Creek the Maverick 3 because you have to play Top Gun Maverick to hit the green. I was able to do when I had at least a bronze power drive/power approach and Brooks Koepka's wood. If you have a bronze power, you will need a wood spec with high power like Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson or Lexi Thompson. If you have silver power, you get get by with a wood spec from Patrick Cantlay.
