xbox controller wont work in PGA TOUR it keeps scrolling to the bottom

Same issue for me, but with a PS4 controller. It's wired into the pc - no other controller is connected and the menus scrolls down/around automatically, like it has a mind of its own. I even have to pause the game every time I want to try and play a shot for it to recognise I'm swinging using the sticks on the controller. Oh, and for the game to even recognise my controller, I have to connect it after the game starts. If it's connected before launching it, it doesn't even pick it up. There is no issue when playing other games like GTA orF1 2022 - it's an issue with the game.

Similar trouble here.  Xbox controller wired or Bluetooth.  Putts veer sharply to the left and a crazy swing path depicted after drives and approach shots.  I purchased a new controller (same model) and it behaves the same way.  My controller worked fine until the last update.

No problems with the controllers on PGA 2k23 - swings are shown as straight and true.

Computer problem?  Drivers?  Game issue?  Steam issue?

I wanted to update this thread and confirm if this specific issue has continued for anyone since the last update?

i have had no problems with the game regarding the controller via bluetooth until now my controller is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting also when im aiming my shots there seems to be lagging in when i press the D-pad and when it registers in game making my aiming either go no where or way too far this also applies to my putting
