If you have reistered your email address with the PVZ2 App (and receiced a small amount of gems as a reward) in past, you can try re-installing the game from fresh and perform the email register again using the same address to recover your original progress.
If you have not registered in past or the above method failed, your only option is to contact EA Help Center by following the link at the bottom of this page for further assistance, please note there will likely be a long queue and sometimes it takes a few attempts to reach a knowledgeable advisor to help recovering your account.
