on this week battlez, the blover cannot be used but my opponents can be used.what is your big problem EA?

I guess there has been a glitch on the system.
When I used my 1st free play yesterday for this week's Battlez of Nuts, Blover was available to me, 4 hours later I played the 2nd free play and it was greyed out.
For fairness I think the Battlez should be re-started as players who played during the 'glitched' period using the Blover would indeed have an unfair advantage.

Just played my 3rd 'Free Play' 5 minutes ago and my opponent's plant selection consists of Blover.
This week's Battlez really are Nuts.
Apparently it is said that later this week there will be a small form of compensation in the way of Gauntlets available to be exchanged with coins....

I have played a few matches over the past couple of hours and in three of them the opponents STILL had the Blover. So much for EA sorting it out!!!!!!!
As far as I'm concerned, EA have messed up big time and no amount of Gauntlets will ever compensate players for their losses. PLUS this compensation will go to everyone - INCLUDING players who still had access to the Blover.
EA seem not to care one iota about the fact that many players have lost reward streaks and have either had to surrender them or use gems (AKA money) to retain them. NONE of this has been the fault of those players, yet THEY are the ones who have suffered losses due to the incompetence of the EA team.
I fully aware and agreed totally of what you have said, but at least this time they have admitted the issue and willing to laying out some form of ācompensationā, albeit to every player and not just to the ones who suffered losses.
FYI, my winning streak was reset when the connection failed but since I did not paid any gems for its retention, guess I do not share the same feeling as someone who has paid out 250 gems (max) a time.
Anyway, I have had a reply that the Gauntlets can be exchanged for 10 coins, so it is a good gesture and better than nothing.
Not fair.... I've barely won against the Blover users... or simply lost a bunch of Gauntlets
