Hello, we currently have 3 players/save files/profiles (whatever you call them) and we want to add a new one. I presume the maximum number is 5, as there are 5 slots. However, the "add new player" text is not appearing. Please help, I guess?
Community Manager@Marasmusine If there is no option to add another account then it is not possible to do so.
We just had this problem. After a little bit of tinkering, we found the solution. If you don't have it connected to your play Google account, connect it so it saves your games and purchases. Then log out of that account. Go to your phone settings, find app settings. In plants vs zombies 2 app. Delete app data. When you open the game, it will have you set your age, name a player, and then connect to play Google account. If it has you try to connect before you create a player, cancel that until you create one. Then after you connect, you will have another player added.
This issue still exists in 2021. Cannot make a new profile on both iPhone SE 2nd Generation (iOS 15.2) and iPad mini 6 (iPadOS 15.2). I want to make a new profile to record gameplay on YouTube.
The ability to create new profiles has been given back and taken away a few times according to EA's whims.
Currently you can't create a new profile and it has been like that for a while now.
I don't know, perhaps this feature creates a bug or something.
They never tell us their reasons for doing anything or what they're doing.
At one stage it was possible to create a new profile automatically just by doing a reinstall.
I do know that it possible to create a new profile accidentally, although i can't tell you how it's done and it doesn't happen often.
