You only get the Mystery Gift Boxes the first time you fight the Zomboss in Modern Day. I think you can get three Mystery Gift Boxes (32, 33, 34) if you DON'T fight the Modern Day Zomboss last. He was my last boss, so I got the Taco with a Waffle in it when I completed Day 34 of Modern Day. The second Mystery Gift Box contained a PowerToss xD
Btw, I started playing this unused profile because someone on reddit said you can bypass leveling Peashooter by taping on any other unlocked plant except Peashooter right before the Penny dialog. However, I tried it maaaany times and it didn't work. I even tried it on a friend's device with a new account.
...BUT I found a way to bypass leveling up Peashooter. When the tutorial wants you to level up your Peashooter, force close and reopen the app. After that do not enter Ancient Egypt but instead enter the Quest log and play the World Quest "Unlock World Keys" from there.
When you unlocked all the World Keys, open Pirate Seas and enter, back out of Pirate Seas again and enter Ancient Egypt (this way the Almanac/leveling tutorial won't start). Play Day 7 and Day 8 of Ancient Egypt. This will trigger new World Quests.
You can now complete Adventure mode by entering the levels through the World Quest log.
I completed Adventure Mode with a level 1 Peashooter 🙂
Downside is that you can't replay any level in Adventure Mode, you can't enter the Almanac and you can't play Penny's Pursuit because the leveling tutorial will start.
But hey, I have a profile with just level 1 plants now. The funny thing is that since you never got to see the "boosted plants in Zen Garden" tutorial, ALL sprouts you collect are Marigold! I'm going to be a Billionaire soon!

I still have the note and wait until Zimbabwean Dollars are equal to American Dollars. Let's just hope it's not the American Dollar that loses so much value.
