Crashing Game

I was playing yesterday night on my Nexus 4 when my phone run out of battery and it switched off without even showing the message warning of it. When I turned it on and tried to resume the game, I found that I had lost all my progress, the game wouldn't show my username anymore. 

I' m freaking out cause I've been playing the game for a year and a half and I had managed to buy all the new plants with my gems and bought some others with real money. Is there anything I can do to recover all my progress? I've tried with this workaround but it's the same, when I run the game my previous username is not there. I can see my achievements and all the Play Games stuff though...

Glad I am not the only one that had this issue! However I am really mad it happened!!!! 

Same exact thing, was playing when my tablet lost all of the battery, charged up logged back in - all the profiles was gone! 

I do sync with Google+ however, I don't see my saved game progress when signing back in.

The same thing happened a few weeks back when my son my playing, I just assumed he deleted all the profiles - he told me the battery went dead and they all just disappeared. 

Any solution for this?

Hey Brian, that's really awful that this happened.  This forum, while set up by EA, is primarily for players to assist other players.  i've not had this issue myself, so I'm going to suggest you contact a game advisor.  The process is detailed in one of the sticky posts above, but here it is again for your convenience:

same problem with me I have 2 years progress spent 200.00+ dollars. had all the gem characters and bought some.boughts cions and some plants. my game got delted. ea games returned a few characters and I spent another 70.00 on coins,characters. now the game got deleted this

time ea games would not do anything but send me to pop caps. they work by e-mail only and I have no resolusion. Basically I'm screwed and noone cares.   good game bad customer service

i did this after but my saved profille didnt go back

EA Help won't even send my e-mail.
