I’m just guessing but the last update has caused the claiming of daily rewards not to work because the game does not reset itself at the correct time for the daily tasks It is probably causing the same problem with trying to get gems , gauntlets and coins.

I have solution for ads. Watch ads but not all. Back later (one hour) and watch another.
It's working. But you need Free Time for this. More Time.
You have ads for:
4 - for gauntlets
3 - for gems
5 - for gold
10 - for seeds.
2 - for fuel
So... Watch 4 ads. Back later. And watch another and back later. Don't watch all ads in one Time.
When problems back. Go to Google Play Services and clear all.
