I think @Ax0710gon meant that Dragon Bruit should increase the amount of sun generated by Moonflower, like other shadow plants do. But it doesn't - no matter how many Dragon Fruit are planted adjacent to Moonflower, it only generates 25 suns, its color also remains blue instead of turning purple. This is indeed a bug.
Ah I see. Thanks for the explanation @rainhaven2050 . This suggests the Moonflower is not recognising the new plant, Dragon Bruit as a shadow plant.
I still have one level 1 profile I have not yet played the Thyme Event, will try this out for myself to see if this were the case.
EDIT. I checked my screenshots from my other profiles where the event has been completed and can confirm this is a bug. I post the image below for our community manager to pass this information over to the devs.
