Possibly, if there is enough demand for it. I think it is a lot of fun as a casual plant when you want to experiment different combos. At least for now, the latest content on the wiki page is about Z-Corp zombies. It may make a return for you to earn its seed packets like Zoybean and Ultomato.
If you are just wanting to play with Electric Currant very badly, then maybe you can try out Wild West day 35 (aka Epic Quest of Wild West Wipeout day 10)..... hmmm the smell of fried chickens....... 👿
