"Free Premium" stuff
I wonder, why do I need to pay for new plants and upgrades? Why not just do the same as PvZ 1 and buy things with the game money? That's what is making me a bit... mad. And some "direct upgrades" are...

dang this makes me think about everything I've spent and am still going to spend on this game lol. I think I own every premium Plant. some I even bought twice cause I used to play on a different profile and had to buy grapeshot and a few others again. I am happy that they changed some plants into these seedium plants like blooming heart so I didn't have to buy it again. whew I wish I had my money back now lol
Oh foolish jeffypop1978, do you not know that any premium plants bought for cash are applied to any other profiles so you don't have to buy them again?
This doesn't apply to gemiums or seediums.
