Hello folks,I have still some plants that I can buy with gems but I'm wondering if it is really worth to buy them ?I have almost all gem plants but except shrinking violet, I'm not using them at all.And I have finished the Adventure mode so I would not use them for this mode but more for Battlez Aloe of course, plant of the weekSeems that it could be useful in Battlez sometimes (like last week) and it is only available for a week so why not ? SquashDoes not look really interesting, I would rather use primal potatoe mine or cherry bomb. But at lvl 6 (385 seeds in total), it can smashed 5 extra zombies which is not that bad. Hypno shroomLooks like a gimmick plant,which can be fun to play in Adventure mode but just a low cost Caulipower in Battlez. Would have been useful for the infamous Wild West day 35 but I already suffered to finish it and I don't want to do this level another time. Pea-nutDid not look interesting at first (I rather play better nut & pea shoorter instead of this )but it is probably the plant that got the more advantages when reinforcemint is used: not only it will restore its health, get an armor but it will also shoot 60 peas. But blover + reinforce-mint will wipe out every zombies on the board, so it may not be that a good combo for Battlez.What are your opinions on thoses plants ? Maybe I am wrong for some of them 🙂Thanks for your help !

I should point out that any plants bought with gems can only be used in that profile, unlike plants bought with real money which will automatically be transferred to your other profile but without any of the seed packets from pinatas (in other words you start from scratch and have to level up again).If you only have one profile then you don't have a problem.

I have all of them unlocked but I did so before Battlez released. If you are asking in regards to using these plants for Battlez match only, its probably better to save your gems for guantlets instead

If you plant food hypno shroom then any zombie, even an imp will turn into a gargantuan on your side once it touches it!

If you only have one profile then you don't have a problem.

If you do have gems (obtained freely from either watching the ads or winning from quests) to spare, I would advice to get all of them to keep in your inventory as soon as possible because you never know when these are going to be changed to be available for cash only.
Most of them will enhance your game experience in adventure mode (and possibly some in the Battlez mode) either on its own or combined with other standard plants, one just need to discover their true benefits -- for instant, using violet to shrink big gargantuars before using a bomb on them - this I use a lot in the 'endless' quests.

Imitater & Torchwood had been gemium a while back but now they are cash plants.
(I too missed that opportunity to get them)

I bought aloe for gems as i thought it may come in useful in adventure mode, in battlez it's just taking up a plant slot i could use for blowing zombies up.
I bought electric current because i thought he would come in useful but he hasn't, perhaps i should turn him into ribena?

Electric current was really useless indeed.
Maybe it is nice for the infamous Far West day 35 at lvl 3-4 where it might kill thoses zombie chickens ? 👿
For Aloe totally useless for this week but I think @eieio_31310 used it last week so it may be a good deal to buy it.

Well, EC is one of those plants that most players who use it a lot will pair it with the Garlic. But then that's TWO slots taken away that could be filled with something else... If one is worried of chickens, just add 2 electric reeds, there, the whole board is under control from chickens, and you free up a slot 🙂
I am using squash a LOT. Definitely is not very cost effective at the start, but gets better value over time.
I do like to collect gem plants. After today's purchase, I have ONE left and then I'm done.
