Makes you wonder how effective or (alternatively) hilarious it would be, in Booosteramaaah.
If you can bear to part with your lovely, sparkly gems gumnut gets cheaper at level 7.

with 3 devices I have Gumnut unlocked and at L2 (L1 +50 seeds) on my Level 1 profile after spending just 250 GEMs to do so
Mastery already at L4 and soon to be L5
