Help with lost progress?

I recently lost all my progress and data due to a persistent issue with my phone restarting at random times-
Every other time that's happened I could pick up right where I left off as my account was synced to Google Play.
I also recently synced it to my EA account
It happened again and I lost all my progress this time. I was not expecting this and did not, and still do not, have my Player ID for the profile I lost.
I had a lot of effort and a decent amount of progress put into the profile, and to have to start over from the beginning is not something I want to do.
I did discover something, however, that I feel should be known;
A Google Play sync does not save your plants and progress.
It saves your battle league and achievements.

Is there anyone that knows a way to restore everything without having my Player ID?

  • If you don't want to go through this again then install it through your Google play account so it will automatically sync when you reinstall and make sure you have your player id so if the worst comes to the worst then EA can restore your missing profile in a day or so.

I suggest you don't accept that, they must know who you are from when you first signed on and gave them all your personal info, it's just that it takes time and effort on their part to sort your problem out and if you had your player id saved then it would be very easy for them.

If you've spent money on premium plants then you shouldn't have to write it off.

I didn't spend any money, thankfully.

    Just a bit disappointed-

I did use a bit of a unique way to get Moonflower and Nightshade.

Went in with whatever plants I had after getting the keys-

Used them and spammed powerups when needed.

Made the rest of ancient Egypt much easier than it otherwise was.

Then in that case you're lucky, but if i were you i would abandon pvz2 and stick with pvz1, it's much more fun even if ads have crept in.

Pvz2 may be free to play but it can cost a small fortune if you're not careful and both ads and microtransactions are rife.

if you really enjoy this game then be perssitent and insistent that they restore your profile.  It should be possible to pull one from weeks ago even.

  • Yep!
I got through after an amazingly low e-mails and got all my progress I'd lost back, including my plants!
