I have hot potato at level 5, so with the update, it should be able to melt the octopi covering the plants that the Octo zombie throws. Only it didn’t. This was on Big Wave Beach, on Guard-shroom’s tiny summons, on high tide. Level 30 if that matters. Why didn’t it work? Guard-shroom? The water? Does it just not work at all?
@ConwayS3v3n could you share with us what device are you using?
I ask this question because I have just tried the same level with my L8 profile and I can confirm the Hot Potato still works as normal on my iPhone. (see images below at C4R3)
Sadly, I do not have a level 5 Hot Potato to try so not sure if the latest update has shifted the melting feature to higher level.
I am also using iPhone. Since it works for you, I can only assume that guard-shroom is part of the problem then. The plant that didn’t work in particular was guard-shroom’s tiny summons that he puts in front of him. No lily pads were underneath the one that was Octoed.
