You should first register on the device you are trying to transfer from, click the cloud icon in the bottom left of the menu and use the verification cade sent to your email. Next, go to the device you are trying to transfer to, go to the cloud icon, and register using the same email. After you enter your verification code, you would have transferred your data.

i have a question i bought a new deviece and i want to transfer progres but on my old device i cant log into google or ea acount what can i do to transfer my progres
Just to confirm, if I put in my email address under Register on the new device, will it connect to my already registered account and restore my progress, or will it override my previous backup with this brand new unused game with no progress?
If you have already registered you email address on the old device, your progress is saved on the server and it will be linked to your email. When you install the App on the new device, if you go through the register again with the same email, you will be given a code to verify you are the account holder, once this is successful, the game will give you an option to either start a new one or reload your old progress, at this point, please make sure you are selecting the old progress (with your earned gems/coins and plants) and NOT starting a new one (without coins/gems and plants).
IF you do decide to start a new one, then you old progress will be over written and there will be no EAsy way back.
