If you have read and follow the 'game crashing' posts on this forum, you should have noticed a forum member has posted a finding that by changing the language to English (from French) seems to have fixed the problem. I think there is something broken on the recent update where it affects more on other languages and less so on English, possibly due to the lack of QA control and play-tests from PopCap.
If your device is not set to English, could you give this workaround a try and let us know of your result please?
I changed it a few day ago but I'm still waiting for a response to recover my progress. As soon I get it back I will report the result.
