I lost all my progress on pvz2

I need help, I recently lost all my progress on my pvz2 profile, i had a lot of plants, finished all worlds, and had some arena plants. 

Recently there was an update, it asked me to update pvz2 when i clicked on Arena, but on google paly store, all i could see was play button, no update buttons. By that point i thought i had my account linked to google play games, because there was no cloud button or the google play games icon. I reinstalled the game, and the game didn't even update, only then i could see cloud and the controller button. I logged In and noting happened. I saddly don't have my player ID. I also tried to play the game from the start, again reinstalling the game, and there were no cloud or controller buttons nither did it tell me to input my name. 

Please help!
