Fault

I had the same problem try removing the cache, if it still doesn't help reinstall the game, but first make sure you connected it to an ea account and that you haven't have any offers for gems or coins that you're currently working on. It resolved the issue for me, but it removed my gem offer i was working on so you have to be careful with it and maybe it won't work for you.

Its a bug that was introduced over a month ago with an update.  EA is slow to react. I can only assume they have only 1 or 2 developers working on this game
