Is Caulipower as good as the hype?

If you're only getting one at the moment I would go with witch hazel.

Any level caulipower  will always hypnotise 1 zombie every 12 seconds, levelling up just makes it cheaper, refreshes quicker and targets stronger zombies more.

This makes caulipower really good in lower level setups provided you can afford them. Caulipower also floats.

Witch hazel attacks immediately, at L7 instead of puffshrooms zombies become fumeshrooms and when goes nuts under the influence of enchantmint,  increasing the attacking rate and turning zombies into toads tools, also in a mastery setup you get some really interesting things happen such as occasional toadstools or boosted hypnoshrooms. You need to have mastery plants though.

Wh used to be an excellent cardio killer but she's been nerfed by the EAvil devs.

Unfortunately the wiki stats table has been removed for wh.

They are both great plants and work very well together.

Witch Hazel  is seasonal so isn't always available and caulipower is always in the store.. 

Don't look in caulipower's eyes though.

I want Witch Hazel too, but it sounds mostly good when it's in high level, while its seed packets seem pretty rare (especially that it's a seasonal plant). Witch Hazel has 2 different pages in the fandom site I think. The one with the upgrade stats can be accessed by clicking on the plants list below the page.

And I've played long enough to probably have my Caulipower in high level (I actually unlocked my EON in mastery when it became seedium). Not with Witch Hazel, though, probably still mid-ish.

It's  a win-win choice because they're both great plants, now if you were thinking about getting electric blueberry.........

Personally I prefer Caulipower as it turns the zombie to fight for you, so the stronger the zombies the stronger your fighters. 

There have been many Battlez with many big gargs and without Caulipower good score is only possible if you have very high level plants, IIRC, @MAGICDAVESHROOM  used his mighty level 1 arsenal to get scores which put my high level plants to shame.

I always thought it's a bad plant, but that's ever since the leveling was introduced.

I at least remember one, the one Arena level with all gargs. Although the level has yet to be recycled in the recent Arena as I remember.
