I can't believe I'm playing again at all, as I lost everything on Blustacks in 2019.
Then yesterday I thought, what the hey, and installed PvZ2 on my Sony Xperia XZ1 G8431, I actually got everything back! Plants, mints, gems, coins, gauntlets, woo hoo!
The only problem I do have is I can only play Arena once a day, through the Daily Activity screen. If I click on it in the screen as (hopefully) shown below, nothing happens, as I'm already on the latest update.
Still, happy to be able to play at all - best wishes to everyone, specially Magic Daveshroom.

I have to say with all these levitator seeds through watching ads and having 2 devices...I have actually got my levitator to level 2. And it will reach level 3 soon. I am really pleased~~~~

Same issue here !
I already reinstalled the game and it didn't work. I almost lost all my progress.... now i'm scared to reinstall again.

I have had a report from a friend of mine that the forced update message was lifted on his Samsung phone (Android device), it appears there has been a new data push to remove the planned update for now but sadly this might have been a little late as his Arena league was dropped and resulting no rewards. It would have been nice if there is some kinds of compensation planned for these players.
Please let me know what you think and we might want to present theses to the devs.
- 3 years ago@eieio_31310 It will be right if all players receive compensation. Regardless of the gaming platform. This is how they do it in all games where players are respected when errors occur due to the fault of the developers.
And compensate Penny. We lost a lot of crystals, seeds and coins due to the inability to play this game.
As well as moral damage.
In general, EA deserves public censure. This is unacceptable behavior for such a company.
