I’ve been playing this game (1 & 2) since it first came out. It’s really the only game I’ve truly been happy with and challenged by. To say I’m disappointed that EA sold out and is now charging to remove adds after every single game is played is a HUGE let down. This is where I draw the line. I’m finishing this week then dumping the game and moving on. So long PVZ! You were fantastic but no love affair lasts forever. 😢
I second this totally! I’ve played this game for years, put a lot of hours into it, leveling up plants, JUST for EA to add ads?? NOW?! Wtf? Are you seriously not making enough money?? This isn’t even to mention, the only option you all offer me is to pay to remove ads for a month or two..
The ones making decisions at your company must be jackasses. This is how you bankrupt a successful game of players.

In fact, I will not play EA games anymore, I’m so tired of this money-grubbing behavior from you guys.
I came here after seeing this change thinking it could be a bug since I bought Toadstool a long time ago to stop ads so I was hoping it was a bug. I’m sad to see that’s not the case, I’ll be leaving the game due to this too. I was hoping I’d get Toadstool to max level before leaving but oh well.
