Hi after the last update I lost my pvz2 account, I tried to restore icloud but it did not gave me my old account back, I have been playing since 2013 and had 4 profiles in my account, that was linked to my ea account, as I only have my “new player” id that had zero progress they were not able to help, anyone knows if I can maybe retrieve it from my old purchases or game center? I have been looking everywhere and cannot seem to find anything. Thanks.
A copy of your game progress (with your original player ID) is saved to the backup server but to restore it back to your current account, the help center advisor will need to know your original player ID to work from.
You said you have been playing the game for many years, would you by any chance have it still installed to an old device? or have an old back up (before the account were reset) that you can restore to a current device to obtain the original player ID?
I have lost counts on making suggestions asking EA/PopCap to tell players to note down their player ID ether from the boot up screen and or from main menu so to avoid this situation but guess this comment has never been seen as important.
