Lost account on PVZ 2

Good evening, my Son has lost all his progress on plants vs zombies 2 he is autistic and this is really causing issues he has 8 years of progress on the game is there anyway we can get all his progress and purchases back in any way?

  • Hi @StrolledTiara96 I've moved your thread from the Battlefield forums to the PVZ one.

    Generally speaking, EA Help can usually assist with account problems, so it might be worth reaching out to them through help.ea.com. Also, and you've no doubt already done this, but I might be worth just double checking that the right account is being used.

    Hi @StrolledTiara96 , as ElliotLH suggested only the agents at EA Help will be able to get you to recover your account.

    If you remember your player ID, make sure to communicate it. If you have it, could you also send it to me via private message? Teams are curious to know what could cause the progress loss and the player ID would be handy for them to investigate.

  • I can’t remember the player ID as I never went to the help section while I had the account. If I had knew the player ID was there I wouldn’t’ve of remembered it because they are so long.

    unfortunately I cannot provide my player ID for the account for the aforementioned reasons, I am so sorry about this.

    @StrolledTiara96If the game app is still on the device (not uninstalled or reinstalled after progress loss), the Player ID is accessible from the game UI. Click the Wrench button on the lower right corner, choose "Download Preferences" on iOS or "Build Version" on Android, and you will find the Player ID. Take a screenshot of the Player ID and keep it in a safe place. Then contact EA Help Center to restore the progress using this Player ID.

    I am also having this issue, but when is the player ID generated?  Mine seemed to overwrite itself today and years of progress are now gone.

    @CalamityG06 If you didn't uninstall or reinstall the game on your device, your Player ID remains the same even if your game profile/data is lost. See my previous reply on how to retrieve it.

    Thank you very much!  So the player ID is the same from when I started playing a couple years or so ago, even though I only connected and linked everything today?

    @CalamityG06Yes. The player ID is assigned when the game is installed. If it is not uninstalled or reinstalled, the player ID remains unchanged.

    I have my player ID recorded, and you have given me hope that I might be able to restore my progress.  thank you!
