PvZ2 Not Launching on Samsung Tab A

I was asked to post this from a chat advisor named Manan.

Restarted my tablet.

Result - no difference. App crashes right before it loads the home screen.

Check date, time, & connection. Result - Date, time, and connection are good. All other apps on my tablet run properly with no issues.

Check Device Storage Result - After checking Device Care >> Memory and running the cleaning feature, Memory is 746 MB free. Maximum is 2 GB. In use is 1.1 GB. Storage is 5.6 GB available. 24.6 GB in use, 32 GB maximum. App loads to the home screen and crashes after a few seconds.

Clear Cache Result - App loads to the home screen and crashes after a few seconds.

Clear Data Result - App asks me to restart. After restart, app asks me to enter birth month and year. I try to do so then app crashes. I tried a second time, app still crashes.

Manan:  The fastest way to get help with PvZ 2 is by contacting us in-game.  Select the wrench to open the Settings menu.  Choose Help.

Me:  I can't load the game. I choose the App icon, it goes through the loading process and then crashes before I get to that screen.

Manan:  Okay then do one thing, post this issue on the EA forum and Our community managers are actively monitoring the forums to provide appropriate solution and information regarding posted issues.

Please help.  This is the 5th person I've dealt with and no one has suggested anything that works or even seems to understand the problem.
