    @ACaptainCaveman There is no bug. The seeds do not increment. You get a one off reward of seeds say for mid difficulty. The hard difficulty will then give you only gems or whatever that is listed. Once you got the seeds initially that is it. And then when you replay the levels, it will no longer give you any seeds, just coins (but it will show you the seeds and that you have got it before if you are replaying the same level).

Thank you everyone.

I get what you are saying and accept that I interpreted the screen incorrectly. 

That being said, it would have been nice to have a top section with difficulty achievements, and a botton section listing what you had actually won in the last round I.e. coin and bonus objective.  But that wouldn't look as nice on the small screen.

Kudos to @PowerToss  and @eieio_31310 for the screen shots and extending the logical train of thought.
