I'm on 8.2.1, and i haven't updated recently.

The first time rewards for penny's pursuit are pyre vine seeds, i easily managed to get the 70x seeds i needed to unlock it in my level 1 profile.

Now i need 70x blastberry vine seeds.

EDIT;On day 8 the first time rewards are blastberry vine seeds.

On day 13 the first time rewards are Ultomato seeds.

I'm conflicted between Pyre Vine or Ultomato. Decisions decisions...

@Perfume-shroom92  I too just have just done my update this morning as otherwise I could not play anything apart from adventure. 

I suspect @MAGICDAVESHROOM is still squEAking for EA without realising......

I wish i can say i have done all the levels. But EA still hasn't fix the bugs for me...my levels all fill up and my perks reset... so oh well.... back to 1 play per day....

You'll probably use pyre vine more.

A word of warning, if you're using low level plants against zomboss don't be tempted to start stacking up Ultomato, lava drips and zomboss rushes destroy a lot of plants.

There aren't any beghouled levels in this pursuit.

If you can get pyre vine to level 6 there is a cost reduction to 75 sun instead of 100.

I have also seen a few pyre vine seed pinatas  (5s) given as bonus seeds with BWB 100 gem seed packets, this is the first time I've seen seediums given out as bonus seeds.

What strategy are people using for Zomboss?

I haven't been too succesfull 😛

@HypnoDjurre I'm using this strategy on my level 5 profile. Bass Blast Perk is awesome in combination with Blover. I just have to get used to spamming it a bit more.

@Perfume-shroom92 It is annoying but only because all three plants are locked...so you only have 4 empty slots which limits the strategies you can use :/ Jester being in the Zomboss fight doesn't really help. But no worries it should be way easier on mild difficulty to get Pyre Vine seeds 🙂

I used this setup on one chili with my level 1 profile and i won all three times, I'm about to try it on two chilis because i just need 5 blastberry vine seeds to unlock it, already unlocked L1 pyre vine last night.

Only had 7s left when I defeated Zomboss

(It's only lvl1 or 2)

With Boss Buster I had 1.30m left

Ah thanks for the info. Replacing Blover with Reinforce-mint and using the Boss Buster Perk could be better! Gonna try that tomorrow.

A newbie question from someone who only recently got Caulipower. Does CP attack Zomboss? (If yes) does it have a good damage on Zomboss? Also, does it prioritize Zomboss over the zombies or attack just as randomly?

Caulipower doesn't attack zomboss, cardios, z mechs or healers but i use it against the zombies that zomboss creates, which either attack each other, attack zomboss or tombstones so they stay in c8, c9 instead of treading on potions and marching on through my plants.

Don't like this Penny's event. I can get through most of the levels on spicy difficulty with level 5 plants but there are so many level where I can't choose my plant and I feel like it is impossible to beat them.

Burned through my free Power Ups and now I have to farm them again to not waste coins. 

On the bright side, my Ultomato is shiny now.

My poor old onesies didn't have too much trouble on one chili, but two chilis was way too hard and i had to chuck frozen snowballs and zap it repeatedly, all for 15x blastberry seeds.
