Playing plants vs zombies 2 but can't unlock 🔓 plants because area is greyed out. How can I unlock now?

What plants are you trying to unlock? Are you aware not all plants are unlocked by seeds?
Some plants you have to unlock by completing levels, and some by collects items from events! Or if you really love the game, you could buy the plants you want for cash.
