Progress deleted with latest iOS update

I updated my PVZ2 on iPhone/ipad and lost all progress in my game. Everything is gone. The Game Center still shows achievements and progress, but the app shows nothing. I followed the steps of deleting the app, reinstalling it and now it is making me choose between two empty/unplayed profiles and says that will be the permanent profile for the account. Is there anything I can do? 

I played years ago, when the app first came out, but stopped and just picked it up to play the daily log challenges. I had no problems loading my game from ages/devices ago. But today’s update wiped it all. 

  • If you have your original player ID (the one with your progress), you need to contact EA HHelp Center by clicking the link at the bottom of this page to get further assistances. 

    This is the second time I see similar issuesin iOS, let's hope this is not the trend the iOS player's account being reset at random for no reason.  FYI. My previous replies to similar issue on link below and I hiope you can get your progress recovered.

  • I updated my iPad to OS18 and lost ALL progress and plants too! I contacted EA support.

    Did you get your account back? I’m so worried!

    I have the same problem. You can write to the developers in the chat (don’t forget to indicate your ID) at help.ea.com, but it’s not a fact that they will answer. They promised to answer me in 17 minutes, but two hours have already passed and there is no answer. If no one answers you either, give the game one star and write a negative review in the AppStore. That's all we can do.
