PvZ 2 Crash on flower load screen

Well it loads as normal then the flower load screen and it only gets 2 1/2 petals and it freezes then crash help pls

    So as not to lose progress in the game, please register on Google Play (this is an axiom)

    The game save/transfer system is broken as of the last time I checked.  That's why there are so many complaints here about people having lost their progress.  I haven't checked recently because I have limited bandwidth on satellite internet and this game is huge.  I'll try to check next time we have spare bandwidth but I doubt they've fixed it.

    Oh yeah.  I forgot to reply to the original issue...

    I've been having the same problem for months now.  It's super irritating.  I believe it has to do with the ad servers.  Mine also crashes a lot when ads pop up between rounds.  Here's some stuff that helps (they don't fix the problem, but they help you get in the game). When the game freezes:

    Pull up the Recent Items menu and swipe the game away.  Wait 15 seconds and try again.

    Let it sit there until it crashes.  Pull up the Recent Items menu and swipe the game away.  Wait 15 seconds and try again.

    Pull up the Recent Items menu and swipe the game away.  Restart your device.

    Pull up the Recent Items menu and swipe the game away. Turn off your internet connection.  Wait 15 seconds, turn it back on again.  Try playing.

    Turn off your local internet devices: modem, wireless router, etc.  Wait 15 seconds...etc.

    Some days I just can't get the game going at all.  It seemed to get better with the last update, but now it's back happening again.

    You can try reporting this to Customer Support, but it might do as much good to go outside and scream it at the universe.  When setting up your case select Technical Support as your topic, then select your device and scroll to the bottom of the page where you hit Contact Us.

    Well surprise, surprise, surprise!  They seem to have fixed the game transfer system!

    I was able to move my game from my tablet to my phone today.  Could just be that I got lucky, but maybe it's actually fixed for everyone.
