PVZ 2 Glitches and Bug Loops

Rackman70, not a dumb question at all! I'm such a novice at all this tech. But I did as you suggested and looked at the Build Version, and it's a:10.8.1|d:0.0.0. I am unsure how to get the game updated. In the past, it has automatically done so. I went to my Google Play apps to be sure the update was allowed, and it is. Maybe I need to just wipe and start again.
I really appreciate your response and your suggestion! Yay!

Sorry for the dumb question, but are you sure you're playing the most recent version (11.1.1)?

If you're not sure how to tell, select the wrench icon on the upper left corner of the game mode selection screen (where your can select Arena/Penny's/Adventure. From there scroll down to the "Build Version" option.

I ask because the screen shot you posted is from CranJelly season several months ago.
