PVZ2 in iOS 14.5 (iPad) dont have any music. There are sound effects but no background music.I tried the following :1. Uninstall and reinstall2. Update iPad software version (14.5 is latest for now).3. Check settings. Music - full. Sound Fx - full4. No bluetooth connection.5. No screentime or content restrictions.I tried to play PVZ. Seemed the music is there.Only on PVZ2 having issues.Please help.

This is a problem created by the new IOS, I have iPhones and and seen iPads working correctly because they are still running earlier version of IOS. No doubt EA will get PopCap to work on the App in future updates so that it remains playing music with the new IOS.

First the music stopped working a few weeks ago on the iPad and now the sound effects as well.The game now has no sounds on the iPad except for the adverts.This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that the developers don’t care about this and make a fix.It’s a BLOCKER issue and months go by and nothing ……Really really REALLY POOR conduct from the makers of this game.

Henry,Thank you for your update - but I just cannot accept this.Did they use bones and rocks to implement PvZ2? Or they used the very well specified coding language used by 100,000s of other game titles for IOS?The sound effects and music playback functionality is so well specified in the documentation, that I wonder how and when did the developers screw this simple implementation up so bad while coding it that they are in this difficult position where the game is currently soundless for weeks.Whichever way you look at it - there are serious questions of competency pointing at the PvZ2 development team. It’s hilariously ridiculous and also at the same time, totally unacceptable.

The sound system gets a lot more trouble when they implement the new plants, and in order to fix this,they need to work on the entire sound system which has been built for years. But it is strange that this only happens to the new version of ios devices.

I am on IOS 13.7 and I am having no music as well, I don't know if the glitch is messing it up because of IOS or something else

I have absolutely no idea, all I know is that they made an attempt on fixing it on the previous update and failed, now I too have no music on my iPhone which is running earlier IOS.
Guess EA/PopCap is trying to make all IOS user feeling equal... ☹️

PVZ 2 Music is working again on iOS 15.2
A few days ago, I noticed that the game’s music is back!
There are some worlds that still do not play music like Frostbite Caves, Lost City, Far Future, Jurassic Marsh, and Modern Day. The other word’s soundtracks are working perfectly.
